Nine Irish Brothers was another one of those restaurants that I heard a lot about before I eventually decided to try it. My friends had told me that the food was amazing, very generous portions, and that the service was exceptional. I had been really raring to try it out, and got the first opportunity to do so on my roommate’s birthday.
The interior of the restaurant is set up more as an Irish-pub style, with a very large bar and then other tables with stools scattered throughout the main dining area. There is also a separate room on the side that holds traditional tables as well as an outdoor dining area in the back. Our waitress was very friendly and very prompt, despite the fact that the entire dining room was packed.
I ordered a full order of one of their signature items, fish and chips, and it really was a sight to behold: a plate heaping with two humongous lager-battered whitefish filets and a generous portion of their Irish pub chips awaited my stomach. I usually tell people that a solid plate of fish and chips is sometimes pretty hard to come by on occasion, but the fish and chips at Nine Irish was truly exceptional from both the taste and satisfaction standpoint. Other signature items that I have also heard are amazing are their Guinness Stew and Shepherd’s Pie, both of which I plan to try on subsequent visits.
Let’s now take a look at the Nine Irish Brothers Dish Spotlight. Asterisks (*) below mark my recommended dishes.
