LE PEEP

Address: 431 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702

Le Peep is a place that I have been to quite a few times now with both family and friends. I was initially recommended to the restaurant by my coworkers and really liked it for the flavorful dishes, very courteous and expeditious service, and nice atmosphere.

For some reason, I’m a really big fan of breakfast food when I’m going to a place like Le Peep. Although they do offer lunch options as well (my friend had one of their sandwiches and said it was awesome), I’ve always stuck close with the breakfast skillet offerings that they have. I’ve tried three of them so far: the Grande, Desperado, and the Sicilian. All of them mix fresh ingredients together with potatoes and cheese, and then served with two basted eggs on the top, and an English muffin on the side. Out of those three, however, I do like the Grande the best. A great mix of ham, bacon, sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms, potatoes, cheddar cheese, and eggs, the skillet is overwhelmingly satisfying.

I certainly intend to return to Le Peep in the future, as their large portions and great tasting food are certainly worth it. Maybe next time I’ll branch out to some other menu options. . . .

Here are my rankings for Le Peep:

Food: 4.5 / 5
Ingredients are fresh and the food tastes amazing. The wide assortment of items that they offer, from pancakes and omelettes to sandwiches and wraps and more, it’s a great stop for breakfast, lunch, or brunch.

Atmosphere: 4.5 / 5
The interior of the restaurant was converted from what was once a Pizza Hut into a very nice and open dining space that made you feel at home. Everything was also extremely clean.

Service: 5 / 5
Our waitress was really nice and the food came out extremely quickly.

Price: 4 / 5
The price of some of the items are just slightly on the higher side, but for the most part, the portions are worth the higher price of the dish.

Overall: 18 / 20 (90%)
